Activities

SATRN’s events and initiatives bring our affiliates together to share knowledge and experience, and develop new, collaborative research projects. Lunchtime “brownbag” talks offer presentations by academic researchers and/or community practitioners on state-of-the-art work in their field. Special interest working groups allow SATRN affiliates with common interests to communicate on a regular basis and develop longer-term cooperative projects. The SATRN annual meeting is an opportunity for our community to come together in celebration, hear from national experts in substance use disorder research and practice, and identify new aims and initiatives for the year ahead. More information on each initiative can be found in the tabs to the left.
